ABOUT

Aelisabet Flowers was started in 2018 by myself, Hannah Garside (née Brook). I design and create authentic and artistic floral arrangements using seasonal flowers for weddings and special events around the UK, but particularly throughout Yorkshire where my studio is based.

My background is in Art and Design and having grown up with an array of talented artists in my family, it was inevitable I would be influenced by their creative paths. Having found my own, I have fallen in love with floral design, appreciating the colours, textures and shapes of each individual stem and the romantic and organic elements of flowers. My passion for design and creating beautiful and wild arrangements for weddings and events is paired with a unique approach to working seasonally. From April to October I use primarily British grown flowers from the wonderful growers here in Yorkshire, offering unusual and delicate ingredients from the English garden.

The flowers and foliage used will always be carefully chosen, seasonal, and truly beautiful. I aim to combine the elements into delicate designs to fill your brief, to create something that is refreshing and artistic, natural and romantic. I am continually inspired by nature; the varying shapes, tones of colour and the ever-changing products of the seasons. Pulling from these elements, I believe, is what gives authenticity and a sense of place to my designs.
